The topic: Spatial Support in MS SQL Server 2008!
How and when to leverage the spatial capabilities of SQL SERVER 2008, even if you're not a GIS geek! We'll see how it's possible to integrate location awareness into just about any type of application. What could be more compelling than allowing a user to interact with information that is relevant to locations that they care about, like home, work, school or vacation destinations?
* When and how to use 2 new data types: Geography and Geometry Data Types
* When and how to use the new spatial indexes
* How to use the Spatial Results tab to view spatial query results in graphical form straight from within Management Studio

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Where: Bennett Room at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center (BMC) (3300 N.W. Expressway Oklahoma City, OK 73112)
The room will be configured for a classroom of 45 people. INTEGRIS BMC will provide a snack, soda, tea, and water. Parking is available in the 56th street parking garage or any of the guest parking areas. The Bennett Room is located across from the cafeteria on the Concourse level. A Video Projector and screen will be setup and available.
